Being visual

We want to produce visually accessible ways to represent our reviews that help different audiences use our evidence and support wider dissemination via our social media platforms. To do this we sometimes work with graphic designers, animation production companies and/or collaborate with different parts of the wider Cochrane community.

We are keen to hear what you think about what we have produced, please leave us a comment via our social media accounts.

eHealth interventions for anxiety and depression in children and adolescents with long‐term physical conditions

Long‐term physical conditions affect 10% to 12% of children and adolescents worldwide; these individuals are at greater risk of developing psychological problems, particularly anxiety and depression. This Cochrane Review found that the effects of e‐health interventions are uncertain at this time. To coincide with World Mental Health Day 2018 we wanted to make the findings of this review more accessible to a younger audience.

Behavioural activation therapy for depression

Depression is a common mental health problem. It can cause a persistent feeling of sadness and loss of interest in people, activities, and things that were once enjoyable. Treatments for depression include psychological therapies (talking therapies). A review we published focused on a type of psychological therapy called behavioural activation. We wanted to make the findings of this review more accessible to the public, so we made an animation.
