Who is our evidence for?

Many people are involved in making decisions about health. We want our evidence to be helpful and accessible to all these groups:

  • Consumers and the public including those with lived experience of common mental disorders. For example, we work with those with lived experience to make our plain language summaries accessible and to develop visual stories of our reviews.

  • Practioners of healthcare. For example, we develop the questions we ask with health practioners through partnerships with local NHS Mental Health Trusts.

  • Policy-makers & healthcare managers who work internationally. For example, we work with author teams to update reviews that are being used to inform the content of clinical guidelines.

  • Researchers & Research Funders including third sector organisations. For example, where our reviews identify gaps in the evidence we are able to work with researchers to develop new research projects and support them to find funding.
