We are delighted to announce that Sarah Hetrick has joined Rachel Churchill as joint Co-ordinating Editor of Cochrane Common Mental Disorders.
Sarah is a long-standing Senior Editor with Cochrane Common Mental Disorders and has extensive experience in evidence synthesis. Sarah's specific expertise in interventions for depression and suicide risk in young people combined with her broad academic and practical knowledge of young people's mental health is a real asset to the Group.
Sarah is a clinical psychologist and Associate Professor of Youth Mental Health in the Department of Psychological Medicine, University of Auckland. She is also an honorary Principal Fellow in the Centre of Youth Mental Health, University of Melbourne with strong collaborative working partnerships with Orygen, The National Centre of Excellence in Youth Mental Health and the Centre for Mental Health in the Melbourne School of Population and Global Health, University of Melbourne.
We are really looking forward to working even more closely with Sarah as she takes on the role of joint Co-ordinating Editor and provides additional leadership, particularly focusing on young people's mental health. We are also delighted to be able to return to our geographical roots, reaffirming the excellent partnerships we have had with New Zealand for more than 20 years. We thank the University of Auckland for supporting us all in this endeavor.
